I did do Onyxia. The short raid was cool but the quests to get to her were long and hard, more so for the horde than alliance. I liked the quests itself, but to be bias against an faction over via another was stupid. I didn't get to do AQ40. I played WoW for a good length of time, around 1 and bit years. I guess it was "rusty" for a long time and the lack of vision Blizzard has when it first came out.

Really? So a person who has sup-par gear can go and have a decent chance in a high raid? Or in PvP? I doubt it.
So the quests still go and have Go kill X monster and bring X amount of monster skins or hearts, bladder, brains. Because when I tried it in the expansion, it was the same recycle quests.
I still hear that they're are queues to get into WoW.
But I don't know if you need to get attunement to get into the new raids in the expansion. I heard about the Nax attunement and that a lot of people won't even bother to even touch it.

Of course it does. It means there is a set amount of you have to pay. While WoW just keeps on going. Also you pay what 15? 20? per month. Thats around $90-$120 per 6 months?

Both WoW and GW are decidedly less than great.

It's just the way WoW is made. One way to look at it is thus: Getting better gear is the only way of progressing your character through the game without having insane level caps.

As I've stated earlier (in this thread? Elsewhere?) it's hard to be original and have unique and different quests when there's so many of them. There are a large amount of different and unique quests throughout the game, but they're easily overshadowed by the large amount of run-of-the-MMO quests.
I'd also consider the quests in TBC to be nicely varied and more enjoyable (see "Bomb Them Again!")

Not really. There are instead some weird low-pop server problems. "Weird" because it's very dependant on the people: My favorite guy is on a low-pop server and there ain't a whole lot of complaining in it. Only gotten to SSC and The Eye though. It really depends on how willing the people in said server are willing to work with each other.

No point to touch it, dude. It's obsolete with only lvl 60 gear. But yes, back then it was a little intense. Most of the WoW population, even quite a few hardcore raiders, didn't even get past the first room. But Blizzard is learning from this and is not going to let this go to waste, since Nax will be revamped in the next expansion into a 25 man raid.

Oh whoa, so much potential at the start but you can't keep it up. How sad, yet not surprising. Oh well, I guess I have to depend on Bryant Again, again to get some insight.

I know its way the thing is made. I dislike WoW for that reason, I guess it was because I thought WoW was more PvP than PvE and only after a few months I realized that it wasn't. I think it that reason on why I moved to GW after it. Some people like wasting away huge amounts of time, but its not for me. I wanted something more competitive and only found that battlegrounds was a huge let down as well. World PvP was the only thing thrilling and that died.
I loved the early quests in WoW, It had so much... than the usual quests did. Darkshire was my favorite and you had that huge corpse guy coming It killed so many, loved it, so much fun. But its strange because they actually took him out and It was lame to be honest, carebears
However I agree with so many, but over the fact that the quests so early were so good in story telling that it just got old when you try the same format. When I played it again, and over time it just lost its magic and some quests that I did just didnt bring that magic back to me.

I don't think I'm really arguing with him. I'm telling him what I can about how much the game has changed (for the best.)
My main point is still this, though: WoW is *much* much less of a grindfest right now than it ever has been. With many of the attunements removed/reduced and leveling speed increased (increased EXP from everything, even more from quests), it's definently getting quicker (leveling was okay imo, but 45-50 is still a slight pain in the ass.)

Distasteful? I think of it as more of how much WoW sucked when I played.
I'm not really argue with Bryant, just with the OP who I have posted. I did have an epic arguement of flaming with Bryant a while ago which was fun but left it in the end because we came to a cross road in my opinion. We couldn't say anymore. In fact I liked Bryant Again more so because of it

I actually like the grind in mmo's, working towards the next level or working towards the next awesome weapon but I still find WoW dull.
GW is getting dull too, now that I've gotten my new computer + Crysis

ofc it will you won't buy it twice do you?
I played less dor all 4 campaigns than i paid for WoW this is a stupid argument, granted i also think WoW is slightly better in PvE but PvP Guild wars is better, both game have something you will get adicted by, you can't really compare the game, i just like Guild wars more because you need to have skills, not like WoW where you can have 6000 skills at a time
